A clear response, Graham, and I, too, have been disappointed by the willingness of scientists to discuss alternate models (other than among themselves). Those that do not speak the Lingua Franca of science are shut out.

What is distinct about the Big Whisper model is that it answers the question: How could the prior state of the universe have ended?

Scientists refuse to discuss this, even when an entire material outcome points out that there was a prior state. They cling to the material knowledge only and not to the entire set of knowable knowledge.

Allow me to present you the same in a creation storyline. It is distinct from the usual creation stories in that it has God create Heaven's Gate only, and the rest is then the automatic result of that creation.

With Heaven's Gate we do not have an actual entity, but rather a passage. The passage is one of transformation.

The storyline can be told from various aspects, but God established Heaven's Gate and subsequently came close to it. Then, parts of God fell through Heaven's Gate and materialized. God decided to not investigate Heaven's Gate any further, but to wait on the other side. Indeed, after some time, parts of God that had fallen through Heaven's Gate returned, while some parts of God now also moved through in the other direction.

While in ordinary thinking there cannot be anything of a greater magnitude than God, there is one aspect that can be greater. If... it is based on nothing. Heaven's Gate is based on nothing, but it has this transforming qualities nevertheless. And the transformation involved God godself.

It is much like a caterpillar not adding or subtracting anything to itself and transforming fully into a butterfly.

In our universe, we have space as the infinite reality. If we envision God as real, then God, too, will not be as large as space. Space always wins from anything in sheer size, even from God.

This does not do away with any of the other creation stories, but it can be added as standing on its own feet. In as far as I know, Graham, this creation story has not been told before. It makes God exist on two sides of Heaven's Gate.
