What I would take out is the short story about the psychological origin of temperament for it districted me longer than just the time it took reading it. You also did not establish yourself as a specialist in that particular field, so it is hanging in the air as your point of view and not as you declare a certainty.
About hanging in the air, it is called music theory and not music facts exactly because notes are not based on notes. To make the sound agreeable to the ears, they have to float in the air and not be based on a single solid point on which all other notes are established.
In science, the word theory is not always understood as something hanging in the air, while the Greek origin of theo clearly indicates the inclusion of something not solid on the ground (and the reason the Catholic church split up a Millennium or so ago).
