Ah, your brain is involved with the abstract control, and it appears you are totally not aware of it. I am sorry about that and my words must be quite confusing to you. You probably have no idea from which left field I am coming.

Still, it is very simple to explain.

We have two eyes, but there is just one vision, right?

Why? Because the input of the two eyes got melded into one.

Your brain is doing the same, thinking you are one, and thinking reality is one.

That is what you need to overcome. You have two brain hemispheres that work together (most often). There are actually just a few things that are truly one; in general we are more like double sets of everything.

If you do not get out of the rabbit hole, then you will always exist at the abstract level and not at the real level. You'll believe your thoughts are the real thing, while in reality the brain is a tool.

Want a historical story to understand what I am talking about?

Odysseus. He and his crew being captured by a Cyclops (one-eye, recognize the setup?). If you do not know the story, look it up.

The ancient Greeks rejected the single God (or single Goddess) and only accepted Gods (plural), yet they noticed how other people in the Middle East were captivated by the idea of a single God. It is possible to get captured by the Cyclops.

Or... consider the history of Akhenaten and Nefertiti. These pharaohs believed in a single god, and since they were the pharaohs they were worshipped (tolerated). Once dead, all their belongings were destroyed because the ancient Egyptians knew that one can get sucked into the abstract reality in which a natural one appears real.

But see the problem: A natural reality captured at the abstract level? That is totally a craziness of the modern human mind. The abstract level can never be the real deal.

1 + 1 = 2, we all say. But... there is nothing said with 1 + 1 = 2.

It is not until we say that 1 apple + 1 apple = 2 apples. Only then do we have something real. 1 + 1 = 2 is an abstraction. Correct, but not natural. One cannot declare reality the same as math. Math is just a part of reality, and only when we put reality in the mathematical equations do we have anything real to work with.

Here is the story that shows that the original word God used to be similar to 2, while many think today (mistakingly) that the word was always similar to 1.

It is so easy to capture a brain at the abstract level. It is much harder to liberate yourself and be free from that abstract dictatorship.

Let structural thinking set you free.

Through structural thinking you can look in the mirror and see that you should have two eyes, and not a single eye in the middle of your forehead.

Good luck. You can do it. It is not difficult. But you have to use that tool (your brain) well to realize your brain is a tool indeed.
