All Anglo nations in the world inherited the Winner-Taketh-All system, David. It is a struggle to get out from under it.

New Zealand did so in 1996. They put the German voting system in place, and in a single election they got almost 50% more women in seats. Today, they're almost 50-50 in the male-female department.

76th in the world of female representatives.

As long as we do not realize that winner-take-all is automatically a lopsided game of eliminating the minority from its right to representation, then our world is not going to change.

Good cop/bad cop is not going to change, no matter if good cop wins forever or bad cop wins forever.

The Founding Fathers did not have this in mind. They guaranteed us the pursuit of happiness and they did not mean bite in the dust until you croaketh.
