Correct, George, and my position is that the US Constitution actually demands that we use Thomas Jefferson's clean voting system for city and county elections.
That way we can change the political game in place which is currently the same at all levels of government. As a result of the substandard impact our votes have, we have too many politicians sitting on their hands, not governing in our name well and particularly handing the goodies to the elite and not taking much away from them.
We tolerate our impoverished fellow men by voting in politicians that look the other way. It does not have to be that way. We need to demand voter equality, and can do so with the US Constitution in hand for the local levels. We sorely miss voter equality while the happy nations in the world do have voter equality.
