Starting out with our having just two primary colors (Red and Blue) in our political system, and therefore our inability to insert Yellow into our House or Senate, this means that the largest group gets the benefits of the doubt, and the smaller groups are forced to wear straight-jackets. I hope you get that analogy right. Our system is sick because it will -automatically- treat one group differently from another group. This point was shown in Washington this week.

We are not a dictatorship (one color); we are not a democracy (three primary colors and more). We are something in-between, and there is something fundamentally wrong with us.

In our system the winner is always the Losing Party.

This is not a lie, but a reality. The Losing Party has always won the political race in numbers, but not in representation.

If we want to change our society for the better (and for all), then we need to get the USA 2.0 upgrade. This 18th century system isn't working for us all, and actually puts one group against another group. Today, the voters are competing with other voters for representation. How dumb is that? Candidates should compete for the voters votes, not the other way around.

I am really disappointed in people calling themselves woke about social injustices while many are deeply asleep where our system is concerned. Minorities are hurt the most in our system because not even 49.9% of the votes will make us be heard. Where are the minority voices calling out for voting reform? Look at the Senate and see how few minorities are in the seats. last time I looked, there are percentage-wise four times as many minorities in our nation as there are sitting in the Senate seats.

New Zealand changed its two-party system in 1996 and that new election, almost 50% more females got a seat (it went from 21% to 30.8% of all seats in one election). Today, New Zealand has 40% females in these seats.

If you call yourself woke, then get on the ball. The US Constitution does not prevent us to tinker with the voting system at the local level (cities and counties have done that already, somewhat). Plus the US Constitution actually demands the better system is put in place. No lie, we should get the system that puts Red, Blue and Yellow in the seats because it is better than the system that only puts Blue and Red in the seats. Minorities will benefit greatly; we will all benefit greatly.
