District Voting is a democracy of dominance. Only the winners get a seat at the table; they dominate. The losers do not get a seat at the table; they are the muted servants.

Proportional Voting is a democracy of representation. All voters are represented by their own choice.

Your graphs clearly show the difference because Anglo nations have winner-take-all elections. The others have Proportional Voting or are proportional-voting influenced.

New Zealand changed it's 2-party system in 1996, and the percentage of female representatives jumped almost 50% in that first new election.

The USA sits at 76th spot on the world list of female representatives.

The Good News? In the US the Founding Fathers put a gift in the Bill of Rights. Local level elections MUST be Proportional Voting elections. Separate-but-equal cannot be used at the local level; it is illegal.

Voters are demanding that cities put Proportional Voting in place, today. See if your city is on the list of what is called Local Revolutions.

If your city is not on the list yet, request it on the article's site. Your request will be hidden from sight immediately after an Invocation got sent to your city.
