Excellent article, Graham, and I'd like to request an interview so I can get added to the list of thinkers you mentioned in your article.
First off, I change the scientific paradigm by declaring that there are two closed systems of energy. We all know that energy does not get lost, and that we can call that a closed system. But there is no violation of any laws of physics to state there are two closed systems, together still closed from an overall perspective.
In the Big Whisper model (similar to the Big Bang model but distinct enough to give it its own name) all that needs to be explained is how the original state was capable of producing quarks. That is then one state, while the electrons are pulled in from the other, original state.

The Big Whisper is different from the Big Bang in that there is no need for:
* A super-hot starting point
* Cosmic Inflation
The reason?
The model. The model is different.
Just like there is no wind in the Eye of the Storm (Zone 1) and yet the strongest wind gusts measured on the entire planet found exactly next to that Eye (Zone 2), materialization in the Big Whisper does not have quarks produced from the center, but rather from that Zone 2.
Once you see it, it is actually super simple.

I am adding the same three-minute article that I placed with your other link to my replies. ‘The Big Bang Egg’:
