For large nations, Germany has by far my favorite system. It empowers the voters to the max while keeping a smart eye out for stability.
For small nations, already encapsulated in a larger economic setting where the larger nations provide most of the overall direction, pure proportional voting ties the politicians to the voters best.
I like the NZ setup, except how it still gives disproportionate power to the winners-taking-all because it is a half-and-half system. I wish NZ had put proportional voting in place with a threshold (of for instance 7 percent of all votes before a party can get seats).
