Forty percent of the voters go home empty-handed after casting their vote for a US Senator.

One in two people is female; the next 200 years we need to have female presidents to get even.

Four out of ten people are non-white/non-hispanic. One out of ten US Senators are non-white/non-hispanic.

Billionaires galore in the US Senate.

Just because we can point to a few representatives that stand up for the poor does not mean the poor are represented in accurate numbers. The true poor (those living in poverty) are simply not represented by their own.

In Denmark, the bottom ten percent gets 3.8% of the national cake. In the USA, the bottom ten percent gets 1.8% of our national cake.

In Denmark, the bottom ten percent of voters end up getting ten percent of the seats. They are present.

In the USA, the bottom ten percent of the voters are never in the majority. They are not represented at the table.
