Fun article, Ethan. The worst misnomer, however, is singularity. It should be very obvious that a singularity cannot be. As such, it is not a scientific term but a religious statement.

There are three models to end up with a result, and two are actually incorrect but we can think it.

1. Something from nothing. Nothing cannot establish something of course. From the Nothing station, no train will ever leave.

2. Something new from something old. This is more logical already, but there is a format that can also not be. One cannot end up with a secondary 100% because it will return to its original 100% state within seconds (if already possible to establish the secondary results).

3. Something new from a larger something old. This is the only structure available for an enduring outcome. The original state established a division among itself with parts becoming something new (matter) and most of it remaining the same it already was (immaterial energy). As such, we do not live in a single closed system, but in two closed systems.
