God is a word that can describe all there is, including us. Separating God from us, however, is problematic, because how can God have created us and this not having affected God?

Answer: that is not possible. The original God that created creation is itself not whole anymore, cannot be whole anymore.

Does that mean we need to throw the idea of God away?

It does not, but we have to prevent ourselves from placing God at the highest level imaginable. Once the original God split apart into creator and creation, the prize of being highest level among all goes to Nothing.

Does that mean nothing is something after all?

No. Nothing is still nothing, but it sits in highest position. And when we look at the universe, we see indeed that space is the largest reality of our current universe. Space is infinite; it has no borders. Space is indeed larger than God.

In physics, we can see similar thoughts that are incorrect. Once we have no clue, we think that the whole is 1, united, at that level. It is worrisome that scientists walk into this single-minded trap.

Energy does not get lost and this is called a closed system. But having two closed systems does not violate any law. It actually explains the atomic level behaviors quite well.

God can be real. But God today exists then in two distinct parts of the universe: at the immaterial side and at the material side. Like air found higher still than the highest mountain top, space is the penultimate position in our universe and anything seen and otherwise not seen but present is found in lower position(s).

P.S. We can also embrace the structure of having Gods. In that realm, we recognize the highest position as the higher one among all, but that position is then not of an absolute value. That is then automatically more in line with how the universe really functions.
