We can take this one step further and say that the Earth is personified energy and that the Sun is personified energy. Obviously, when moving away from the individual and looking at the group (of things), we tend to not use the term personified any longer.
But I have no problem worshipping Mother Earth. I have no problem worshipping the Sun.
Yes, I do have a hard time worshipping the politicians that make a number of decisions and then forget to make another set of similarly necessary decisions. Or when a top politician takes a nation of sandbags to war (with the sandbags being the Russian people, letting Putin murder other people in a dumb war about land that was there before we were born and that will be there when all of us are gone).
So, I am not going to throw the baby out with the bathwater because that leaves me less empowered than when I keep the baby.
Yes, I personify energy and I worship energy. To deny that makes me less empowered, blinds me in seeing the big picture. I like both eyes open.
