You should try it, Sudoku. American invented but popularized first in Japan, hence the name.
Not only is playing the game good for the mind, but it shows that empty spaces cannot be filled out willy-nilly. In physics, folks don't understand that not-knowing for certain does not equate to 'anything goes'.
The universe is a Sudoku game. Some of the contents, though, pretend there is no Sudoku game. They ignore and deny that there is a game. Or... they say that the game equals 1 (or 9). I do not understand those that say that.
Yes, the game is fascinating, a little painful at times.
