I am sorry to read, Derpyswerve, that you take in an anti-position to the West. That means you are not really considering the deeper reality of how the world works, but rather picked a friend (Russia?) or an enemy (the West).

I am glad I have an open mind and not one that has been made up by others.

Can I understand what Russia is doing?

Yes.

Can I agree to what Russia is doing?

No, there is far too much bloodshed, inhumanity, straight-forward destruction and civilian murders that whatever the Russian reason is, it is not enough to justify what they are doing.

The goal cannot ignore the means. The goal cannot be such that no-matter-what we move ahead with total abliteration of whomever stands in the way.

I will never side with rapists and murders, not even when they are found in the West.
