I like your reply, Dave, but it doesn't address the concerns I presented.

Selfishness (or whatever term we want to use to declare that folks tend to get along with close relatives better than unknown people) is a human trait.

I don't know if you can see it, but there is already an extreme value placed on civil behavior in the United States and we all see how that works out. Many are pushed out, whether politely working along with others or not. I do not see your system addressing that, but rather the same old two hands in the air and exclaiming We cannot make everyone happy!

I call it Good-Will Hunting, Dave. You did not device a political system that can work at the larger national levels.

That said, I recognize that a global government is also not desired no matter the system. It is here at the international level that all players need to recognize that it is their self-interest to work along with one another. American and European selfishness that you partially addressed need to further subside, while safe-guarding is needed for selfishness by emerging powers such as China and India.

But that international platform is not through organization from the ground up, or from the top down. It is established by itself, and what we have in place can use improvement for sure.

Said in a completely different manner, this world is not built on getting rid of all weapons, but on having enough weaponry guarded by national governments so everyone can feel safe and recognize the others as equals. Then, diminishing weaponry by national governments can become an issue.

We probably gnawed on this enough. I want to thank you for the conversation — always interesting with you, Dave.
