I see well what the USA did not do well, Yulia.
I did not know that Russia asked to be a member of NATO. Perhaps it was not possible to become a real democracy? That would deliver a resounding NO.
Pointing at someone else as a bad actor is not a carte blanche to invade another nation yourself. Russia should stick to Russia. I cannot argue that point more clearly because it is crystal clear. If the Russians in Ukraine don't like how they are treated, then they can go back to Russia.
I am very happy to see that Russia is experiencing great loses in this war -- all well deserved. I see Putin declaring the first phase completed, hopefully this will mean retreat.
I now hate Putin like my parents hated Hitler who's nazis destroyed the hometown I was born in. I hate fascists, I hate these Russian fascists deeply.
If you want, we can talk fascism in the USA. I am not blind.
But Russian fascism is what you need to understand and not defend. If you point the finger at the wrong party, then you are blind like a hooligan supporting their football club no matter how bad the players are.
You can't defend a bad actor by pointing at another bad actor. That is bad logic.
