A good article, Jessica, particularly because you are showing that our 'democracy' is like a television show. We have had many actors becoming politicians, so there is no real surprise there. But flimsy our 'democracy' is because the two parties contain more power than the voters. Voters vote for the famous people, because they don't have a real choice.
Like a Wall Street flush with money while there are plenty of children going hungry to bed at night, our political parties hang above the voters, not attached to them as they would be in a real democracy.
This is a good time to get the USA 2.0 upgrade.
