I'm with you, to a point. I do believe we have to take all oxygen out of Russia, stop investing, stop buying anything Russian. I like reading that some people who just left Moscow said that Moscow went North-Korean on them in just a short time frame.
I believe we have to continue to support Ukraine with weapons, and I don't mind that when the Russians bombed everyone from the Donbas region to do the same to whichever Russian gets to live there. It is part of Ukraine, and it should be controlled by Ukraine.
But the actual truth is even harder. Russia is a total disaster for world history. They should have learned the lesson Nazi Germany learned; they should have learned the lesson they had learned already about their own failure of the Soviet Union, Stalin and Chernobyl.
I am scratching my head why Putin went into a rabbit hole of total-dark dimensions, only because NATO came too close for comfort. Talking about hypersensitivity. I read it as a lie. It's just that Putin and comrades want the richness of Ukraine and they lie whatever story to get their hands on it.
Whatever is good for Putin and comrades is not in the best interest of the Russian people, who are fleeing the country (for decades now), whose Russian rich invest in London and other places, who buy toys they cannot play with now.
I feel for the ordinary Russians and at the same time I am angry that they have such a sheepish culture that allows tyrants to rise up and rise up and rise up again. When do the Russian people learn and rise up and make it better for themselves? Why do they keep embracing these systems that support a nasty elite in top that is not good for Russian society at all.
Anyhow, just typing an article response to you. What else can we do? I am not buying anything Russian anymore. I do not trust anyone Russian anymore, and I can only hope that Russia will one day become a democracy and that Ukraine beats the shit out of anything Russian.
