In Italian, I can say Sun, God, Earth, nearly with the words 1, 2, 3.

Solo/Solo, Duo/Dio, Terza/Terra.

Single/Sun, Two (as in pair)/God, Third/Earth.

In a combination of Dutch and German, one can hear 'derde' (third in Dutch) and 'Die Erde' (Earth in German).

In English, the word God is etymologically linked by linguistics to the word 'gut'. It is that part of the body that can sometimes show movement/deliver feelings of movement, while the internal motion will not be directly visible of course to outsiders.

In Dutch, the word God (same spelling as in English) is etymologically linked to the word 'giet', which in English is the word 'pour', as in pouring rain. When it pours, you can get as wet in ten seconds as if you jumped into the water.

As such, the word God pinpoints to a secondary reality, one that is real but that is of a secondary quality, not exactly the same as the direct reality.

If the Sun is 1, then we experience it directly with its blinding light. But the sun rays are more like a 2. When standing in the shadow and then coming out from the shadow, the reality change is distinct and real.

That means that the word God originally indicated something actually real, and something we can experience. Yet also something that is not as directly present as most of reality.

Then, later on, the monotheistic religions came into fashion. They established a jump to the abstract level, and the abstract level does not need to be real.

The abstract level is like a piece of paper on which one can write something. Or draw a face on it, for instance. One can even draw a face with a single eye on it, a Cyclops.

As such, the abstract level is a fake reality.

If we place God at the fake reality level, then we can envision God to be '1'.

In reality, there isn't anything that is '1' (at least not at the overall level).

Thanks, Linus, for the quick and interesting conversation. Thank you for sharing your inner views which allowed me to reply you in a direct manner.
