In the Big Whisper theory, a religious story can be told, more or less the same as the scientific story -- using different words of course.

God is then God only in the prior state of the Universe. Then, God created Heaven's Gate (and nothing else).

God decided to investigate Heaven's Gate and parts of God fell through.

So, we end up with matter on one side of Heaven's Gate, the remainder of God on the other side, and Heaven's Gate itself in the highest paramount position.

In other words, God vacated the highest spot and this established two realities.

In this reality, Space is the vast nothing, so not even the original God would be as large as Space.

In the invisible reality (think dark energy), we have the remnant of the original God.

In Greek mythology, this same structure is followed. Cronus, eating his children, was defeated by Zeus who was hidden until that defeat. Cronus still exists but is captivated in Zeus' world.

I don't think we need to fight religion. We just need to find the correct religious story that can replace the incorrect stories.

The power structures will come tumbling down with dismanteling those stories, creating new power structures that are hopefully based on what really matters.
