It is all far simpler, Ruth. Numbers are abstractions.
Abstractions are not the things themselves, but declare something fundamental about the things.
By separating the abstraction from the things, you made a faux pas.
Basically if there is a car that is going 80 miles an hour, it would be a mistake to look at what 80 miles an hour is by itself. If you remove the car, 80 miles an hour has no meaning.
I added the article above, because our universe has always two parts. Like the binary system, there is a 1 and a 0. The 1 stands for matter, whereas the 0 stands for the particular situation in which that matter exists.
Our universe has two distinct actions for matter: divergent (from the Big Bang up to this day and into the far far future) and convergent (planets, solar systems, galaxies, but not much larger than galaxies).
Divergent and convergent are two actions that cannot meld into one. In an easy translation, the 0 and the 1 stand for ‘separation’ and ‘grouping’.
Since you declared yourself to be a Monist, I have some bad news for you. We live in Universe 2.0 (with matter) and that means Universe 1.0 (with matter not yet formed) does no longer exist. The Old God (if there ever was 1) is no more. The New God (or the new gods) are not the gods from which we derived.
Yes, I did truly love your article. Very well written and easy to follow, Ruth. Good job for writing it and making it clear how you think. But while you use the word abstract, you did not use abstraction.
I hope you enjoy my article.
