Local Revolutions grassroots organization is working very hard to make our nation become a democracy. Right now, we have a red&blue exclusive democracy, and a Supreme Court overstepping its realm because Congress can't make many real decisions.
The US Constitution is the actual foundation of our nation, but judges pick and choose from that foundation. Some parts are made unimportant, which should legally not be possible but they do it anyway. The judges sit above the US Constitution and not below, where they should sit.
We can demand the US Constitution is honored at the local level where today it is not. A small but very important step must be made, because it means that voters will then use a clean voting system for the first time in US history. So far, only district and at-large elections were held here, and they put voters against voters. That is not what anyone would think when they hear We The People, right? Voters competing with voters over representation? That sounds like Rome and its Colliseum. That does not sound like an inclusive democracy that the Founding Fathers did really have in mind for most of our nation.
