You found the right spot to help you fall asleep. Here are many methods to make you fall asleep. If one isn’t working, pick another. You can be asleep in five minutes after applying one of these methods.

Let’s begin with two Counting Methods:

  • Count while adding a number at the end of an ever-repeating series:
    (1), (1, 2), (1, 2, 3), (1, 2, 3, 4), (1, 2, 3, 4, 5), (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), etcetera. The brain is engaged; this method is complex yet also repetitively boring, so a perfect way to fall asleep quickly.
  • Count in repeating prime-number patterns. For instance, repeat the numbers 1 to 5, over and over and over and over again. Or repeat 1 to 7, over and over and over again. This way, there is no underlying pattern that repeats into something else (repeating 1 to 4, for instance, can become the basis for a beat or a melody that can keep you awake). Easy prime numbers are: 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19.

One magical Physical Method:

  • Extremely gentle (while in bed) stroke one of your earlobes for about 15 seconds. Use the lightest touch. This ever so slight sensation guides you to the spot where your inner-self sleeps. Warning: yank on your earlobe and you are giving yourself the best wake-up call, best used in the morning when you want…
