My hero is Baruch Spinoza who declared God possible indeed — at the abstract level. Myself, I move into a different direction in which God is not the creator of all, but rather the creator of Heaven’s Gate. This was all it took to have matter be created.
With Heaven’s Gate, God had created something mightier than God godself, that at the same time was not a something at all — it really is an empty spot, a passage.
When God examined what God had created, parts of God ended up moving through Heaven’s Gate. These parts disappeared through the Gate. Naturally, God would have tried to rescue these parts of Self, but this attempt only led to more of God being moved through Heaven’s Gate, disappearing.
God resigned godself to the fact that God had created something mightier than God godself. And it could not be undone. God godself was not whole anymore — parts of God had moved on.
Low and behold, after a long time, some of the parts returned to (the remaining) God through Heaven’s Gate.
We find ourselves on this side of Heaven’s Gate and, just like the remnants of God, we sit below it, the empty position is the highest position in our universe — on this side or the other side.
In this article, not God but the former king (the Big Bang theory) is discussed together with the Big Whisper theory (the new king). They are actually very much alike, but the Big Whisper theory states that the creation of separation in the prior state ultimately led to the transformation of (some) pure energy into matter. Here, too, the creation of the Gate is all it took for matter to be created.
Not many scientists like it, just like not many theologians would like the idea that all God created was Heaven’s Gate.
There is evidence that zero is fundamental, that zero is a natural number. This supports the claim that God created Heaven’s Gate and that it was all that was needed for matter to appear.
Baruch Spinoza did not live a happy life, at least that is my guess, but I think he was happy that he had discovered much of what we now see as self-evident. Separation of state and church must be mentioned for sure, he changed our world, but also that at the abstract level God does exist. Who else could have created an empty almighty space.
