No, Douglas.
The sky is blue. To call that out as a belief is not even possible.
Same for the list of elements. An alien space ship can land on Earth and both the Earthling and the alien can point to the same element on the periodic table.
They will not say to each other: "Oh my God, we have the same beliefs."
I think you got lost in the world of Quantum Mechanics in which those trying to find unification had to come to the conclusion that there was no unification possible, hence they incorrectly concluded that the bottom fell out.
In reality they are not opening both eyes at the same time:
- quarks establish the neutrons and protons
- electrons neutralize the positive charge of the protons
QM is therefore a charged subatomic reality, but the universe as a whole is in a neutral state.
We live in two realities at the same time. We have the linear matter in neutrons and protons, and we have the non-linear matter with electrons.
When we look at the sky, we will all see that it is blue. We have a solid fact because we have a book of colors that is the same for the entire universe, and while we may see things differently from other living beings, when we look at that book and find the same thing we see with the sky in the daytime, then we see the name next to it: blue.
