No, you can say what you want. I like that.
But words pointing to what is wrong is something entirely different than words pointing to how things can be corrected and made right.
The United States has a very old voting system and minorities are suffering from it. The surprise is that minorities (I hate that word) embrace winner-take-all as if nothing is wrong with it. It is common for groups that feel suppressed to use their anger to empower themselves. No problems there. But the true point is emancipation. At the point of emancipation all can partake as equals, while being themselves, benefiting in equal manners.
What I see you do is acknowledging the divide-and-conquer system and wanting to overcome it, but your words clearly show you did not spit out divide-and-conquer within yet. The big picture is not changed with words, so go ahead and say all you want to say. But any person wanting a better world will have to investigate what system was in place that made it so bad or that still makes it bad.
The political power struggle in the United States is not found in just Congress; it is found in the voting booth and that is sick. Voters should not be competing with voters for representation. It hollows the meaning of representation. Voters should appoint their representatives. Scandinavian countries, for instance, do just that. They do not have losers in the voting booths like we do (particularly minorities lose in our system).
Let me finish by challenging you what it is that you have to say about our voting system. I read nothing about it, and the voting system goes to the heart of every minority. But... you may have a lot to say about it.
I'd like to hear it.
