Okay, math it is and you will see why your article is not the smartest ever written.
The binary system and the decimal system can both be used to write anything down in the entire universe as long as we are using numbers.
Something fascinating occurs when we compare both systems in light of 0s and 1s.
Let's start with the binary system. The 1s and 0s occur in abundance, and no single 1 takes up the spot that we normally associate with the decimal 1. We can, for instance, not say that the binary 1s each and all represent unity, because they are used where needed and they are all alike. So, how can a single binary 1 represent unity when there are so many of them? It is simple: it can't.
But we can use the binary system to declare unity. All we need to do is collectively agree that 1110101001 represents unity and we are done. As long as we agree on this number sequence, we have captured unity forever.

So, let's look at the decimal 1. We can declare it the unit and we can declare it 'unity' as well, showing the united whole enchilada, to paraphrase you. That single number is versatile indeed.
The decimal 1 is a unit indeed because 2 represents two units and 3 represents three units. No question about it.
Yet the decimal 1 does not need to be 'unity'. It is unity only when we all agree on it. It is not unity therefore if we do not all agree on it.
So, the basics of mathematics is actually quite diverse, particularly where 0 and 1 are concerned.

There are two groups of mathematicians that do not agree with one another about 0.
Set theorists say that zero is a natural number. Meanwhile, number theorists (the largest group) say it is not.
Almost all scientists say there is no Year Zero, but astronomers fully embrace a Year Zero.

When you want math to support you, then you are not on solid grounds, Tony. Particularly when the big picture is concerned, mathematics is not going to give you much support.
Rather, it will be exactly like the binary system. It will declare that for any overall position the value of 0 and the value of 1 is equally important, any which way you turn the argument. One can declare God to have a value of 1, and the other says it is 0. But neither can take the other out. They are both essential parts of our current universe.
Give it up, Dave. Don't battle a battle that cannot be won. The word God can always be used. All one needs to do is change the meaning of God and it will apply quite well to whatever is left over. You are fighting a God that some believe in, but you fail to see that there is a God indeed that you can fully embrace because that God is exactly like you.
