Part of the solution is who we should be and part of the solution is what we can do.

If a national separation were to occur, and for instance two separate currencies were to get established, then neither would be as strong as the dollar in the world. If the dollar is divvied up, then the Arab nations would stop trading oil in dollars, and we would be flooded with an extra surplus of dollars nobody else wants, so that would be worse than Argentina. The dollar would become weak. Also, if we get to be too smart or too expensive for foreign investments, then our currencies would sink. We are stuck in our success story.

But... we want a better United States for ourselves, let's agree on that.

The Founding Fathers gave us one doorway, and one doorway only, and I think we should take it. It is just at the local levels where we can change the game. Some are focusing on the top and don't see the opportunity at the bottom, but moving the bottom of the pyramid automatically translates into moving the top, too.

Currently, we are red-and-blue brainwashed, and that is of course not as bad as being brainwashed in a single color, but brainwashed it is nevertheless.

Let's get the full-color democracy where we can, today, David. The Founding Fathers are with us.

I am trying to make people realize that, before they step into the voting booth, we were had already by the setup of district voting.

I hope you'll read the article and see how we did not get much power, how we were forced to think red and blue, and why that is truly bad.

Thank you for your reply. We both want change, but I think change with Local Revolutions will benefit all of us and does not end up with civil wars. Once the cities are based on an Inclusive Democracy, then I am certain we will move to changing the voting format of the States as well.

Do you know how Proportional Voting works? It is a very enlightened system, and was first devised by Thomas Jefferson.
