Racism is worst in the Americas. While hatred of strangers (I'm thinking treatment of Jews) is definitively not something to sneeze about in for instance European history, racism has never seen anything as deeply ingrained as here in North and South America.
But racism is just one of the power games plaguing the Americas. The political systems in the Americas are either pure winner-take-all for all representatives, or having a winner-taking-all president in top of the proportional voting system. In the Americas, the true form of democracy is not found. The happiest nations in the world (and this includes the happiest immigrants in the world) have a voting system that delivers equal representation.
Why pointing at winner-take-all? Because minorities are pushed down further by this system than a system of equal representation, and they then end up being angrier with others, not seeing the others for who they are anymore.
When a Black person talks about White people, one can often see that one minority does no longer recognize the other minority. There are more poor people in the US that are white than there are black people in the US. The white minority is not seen by some black people. There are many political minorities in the United States, all pushed lower than they would be in a system of equal representation.
In the US, one in eight is of African descent, but look at our senators and we do not see between ten and fifteen African American senators. The voting system is rotten; it does not benefit minorities. Yet this includes poor white people; how many senators do you think truly represent poor white people? Senators don't know what it is to be poor.
Minorities that do not recognize other minorities for what they are can end up embracing truths that are not the real truth. They point at the other group that must have more power because we don't have power for sure ourselves. The real truth is larger and contains all minorities and how they all suffer in winner-take-all.

Words are useless if they do not speak the truth. It is complicated to pick the truth from the words in this article by Petiri Ira because they are obviously the truths of one group only, and not the truths of all that are suffering in winner-take-all.
Let's do ourselves a favor and get the USA 2.0 upgrade. The US Constitution is already fine with our getting it for states and for city and county. The 14th Amendment seems to even demand it is put in place for cities and counties. Just start voting for candidates that want voting reform. We can get the better outcomes, but we need the better system to achieve that.
