Robert, you are just saying what everyone else was saying in the past, since Einstein.
Einstein published a correct calculation framework to explain the anomalies seen among the movement of matter. He even got some more confirmations through this framework.
But... he overstepped himself with the big picture. He missed the essence of that level -- big time.
Very much to Einstein's surprise, Gödel presented him (on Einstein's 70th birthday) his Gödel Metric, which is equally correct, just like Spacetime, presenting all outcomes correctly about the anomalies seen with matter's behavior.
Einstein was flabbergasted. He had to agree that it was correct.
The only reason both Spacetime and the Gödel Metric are correct is that they are dealing with the framework. They explain the HOW, but neither explains the WHY.
Einstein did not incorporate the Big Bang in his thinking.
Earth is:
1. spinning
2. revolving around our star
3. circling along in the Milky Way circulation
4. speeding in a single direction, together with the Milky Way, which occurs at our fastest speed.
Einstein did not consider #4. He left it out of his work.
Let's look at satellites, which we know show Einstein's time dilation real well.
What is happening?
These satellites are pushed out and away from Earth's spin just far enough to diminish the effects that this spin has on their matter.
It's like sitting in a train that is always moving in an enormously large curve, never straightening out, and then just for these satellites the curve starts to become less of a curve and more of a straight line. They will adjust themselves to that straight line of motion.
More precise, the straight line is the Big Bang motion we are still involved in. As we know from physics, an object will remain at rest or continue moving in a straight line at a constant speed unless acted upon by an external force. So, we are still involved with the push (or backward retraction if you like that visualization better) that was established by the Big Bang, the fastest speed we are involved in.
For Mercury, same story. Yet this time, the edge of the system is found with our star.
The Solar System revolves around itself, yet the Star does not revolve. The center is not revolving at any speed.
In other words, Earth is involved in four motions, whereas the Sun is involved in three motions.
The closer to the Sun, the more the planets will also be closer to the straight line motion, and slightly less involved in their curved 'train ride.'
Einstein (and Gödel) did not explain the WHY. They 'just' had the calculations right.
Then, Einstein completely overstepped himself and wanted an answer at the universal level. Yet at the universal level we have the Big Bang, so that is always a negative and not a positive. There is no universe other than the collective of all aspects that make up the universe. One can, for instance, not say that the universe expands, because that is an immature delivery about what is actually happening (matter/energy is collectively moving outwardly, at least in the beginning).
Thank you for your article. You have a good brain, but I hope you will get rid of the religious parts in your scientific thinking.
