Rubin's Vase is based on the same data, whether we recognize it as a Vase or as Two Faces. It is not the data that changes; it is our perspective.
Physicists put their heads in the sand, ignore the structural truth that at this level of data there is always a second option. Exact same data, different perspective.
However, looking at the Black Hole theory, physicists hold on to matter that is invisible itself and that itself cannot be shown directly to exist. The event horizon prevents the scientific detection of the proposed immaterial matter.
Occam's Razor will pick the Black Eye model over the Black Hole model because there is no hanky-panky involved. All is straight forward, normal, in the Black Eye model.
We'll see who has the last laugh, Theodore.
