Structure of the model is the issue, bkuehlhorn. Words are not the issue, so let's not get a quackmire going on about words.

Event horizons are structural aspects of the Black Hole model. Will you please acknowledge?

An event horizon is an actual solid and singular aspect of that model, while the words 'Black Hole' can be used for 1. the item of collapsed material, 2. for the setting in which that collapsed material exists, and 3. for the larger idea of how this gravitational phenomenon came into being. There may be other ways to use the term Black Hole, so let's not discuss words. The event horizon is recognized by all physicists in the world as one of the aspects of this model.

So, don't pick words. Recognize that the event horizon is a solid scientific aspect of the model. At one spot, our instruments cannot move in deeper and retrieve any information.

That is a major distinction between the Black Hole and the Black Eye models. The Black Eye model does not have an event horizon.
