Thank you for your perspective, Erik.

When I see 'so democratic' I read how these nations ended up being so democratic.

So, your response is appreciated but it appears you are speaking from the essence of what you wanted to write about and not about the larger framework in which you actually wrote this article. You seem to have a doubled agenda with this article, and your reply makes that clear to me.

Yes, I did have fun reading all your points, and you are definitively a good writer. I have no complaints there and I love where you take your readers. But in this article you put me on two different feet not going in the same direction.

The Scandinavian countries stand out in the world as you showed with your map. That's a position about today.

Personally, when I think about Scandinavian countries, then I see a European history with its own local peculiarities. Yet I do not see a complete and 'so democratic' divergence from the other more-democratic European nations until the very clean voting system is put in place. As mentioned, Scandinavian voters are the most empowered in the world because dilution of their votes is almost completely minimized (this in stark contrast to the USA where voters are barely empowered through their votes).

This article needs a rework, Erik, and perhaps you want to change the overall framework so you can focus on the social-historic aspects of Nordic nature. Now, you want to do two things and I am not pleased at all that you are not discussing the foundation while the framework points to your discussing how the Nordic countries are indeed so democratic.

Yes, still a fan (but complaining a bit).
