That shows you how Einstein did not understand everything he discovered. He did not know where to hang his hat. He used the word Universe not understanding that this is not a scientific word. More on that in a bit.

I am reminded of Gödel who gave us the mathematical proof that Incompletenesses are the inevitable outcomes at the overall level (as in any and all of these results about the overall level will always be incompletenesses). And yet Gödel suggested at one point in time how the whole of the universe could be spinning. Hilarious.

Okay, here we go, Alexandre, the word Universe is not a scientific word.

This is poorly understood by most physicists because most physicists are not very good at understanding language.

Just to make your brain crunch a little on this, the word universal is a scientific word.

The two examples of universal are easy to understand.

When starting with a standard color book, then everyone will pick blue to indicate the color of the sky in the daytime without clouds.

This is actually a universal truth. Even when aliens come to our planet and see that color book they, too, will pick blue from that book as the color of our sky.

The other example of universal is the periodic table.

Humans and alien intelligent life capable of distinguishing the elements will have either identical or near identical periodic tables. There may be a cultural aspect of organizing the table itself that is slightly different, but the essence of the periodic table is universal.

Notice how the word universal is not about the universe at all, but it is rather about a specific scientific truth that is the same for anyone at that same level of intelligence or when using that same standard like the color book.

Again, the word Universe is not a scientific word.

Try this for yourself.

Make the word Universe a scientific word and you will notice that you cannot do it.
