That would only be true if unification were true. But... it isn't true. It is the Scientific Santa of our days. Scientists should not be believers; believing is an activity that falls outside the scientific realm.

The Big Bang event was a one-time event. Its results show very clearly that what may have been unified prior is no longer unified.

In a plain English analogy: The Vase may have been whole once, but we see with the many pieces of the Vase that it got broken. The Vase will not repair itself.
