The Black Hole model has two invisible aspects: Gravity and Matter collapsing onto itself that cannot be detected directly.

The Black Eye model has just one invisible aspect: Gravity. It is simpler than most folks imagine.

Synergy is the word to understand; it means that we have an outcome that is distinct from the parts and yet there is no additional input other than the parts.

The gravitational output of all masses in a galaxy form a synergistic outcome in the collective center: an enormous gravitational depression. All these masses are pulling on this collective center.

When specific matter gets near the enormous gravitational depression, we witness the results.

The two models are both good models.

The Black Eye model is simpler because we do not need to accept that matter can collapse onto itself.
