Turning Gödel’s Incompleteness Theorems into a real-life experience is not all that hard to do. Just start out living your life, and sooner rather than later reality knocks at your door letting you know that your eternal bliss is not going to be experienced eternally. Anything we start out with, we will not be able to take it to the highest level and enjoy it as the ultimate completion for forever.

The largest level in life is distinct from the specific level. It makes a lot of sense that, when starting out with a male or with males as a group, for instance, we cannot take all discovered truths and simply lift them to the highest level as truths for all human beings. Something’s gotta give. The top level is simply not the same as the specific level.

The disappointment in life does not only lie with the cards dealt in life itself, but with our footing in life, too. We build ideals in our minds, perhaps because we see others able to achieve them, and we are depressed ourselves when unable to reach that same level or higher.

Of course the grass is always greener next door, but that is because we don’t have to mow that lawn ourselves, right? We love the free ride.
