The human brain is malleable, flexible, and can hold any structure we can think of.
Naturally, we should be thinking in unifying manners because that is how we succeeded as a species. When on Earth, the smartest thing to do is team up with others. The smartest thing to have is a brain to overcome problems and unify matters of life.
The brain, however, is also a master of tricks. It picks and chooses, and when indeed most beneficial it likes to repeat that. Even when incorrect, if the benefit is big enough we embrace it. It's called art and artificial, and we have plenty of it in our lives.
So, if you have one model for the universe and one model only, then you have not given your brain the workout it should get.
I do not mind if you end up picking the one version you are currently embracing, but you have to come up with a variety of models and then pick your favorite.
My suggestion to you is to see the current state of the universe as the chicken, whereas the prior state was the egg of this chicken.
Inside this universe, with the material results, we see material chickens and eggs. But it is already a question (meaning we can conjure various models and not just one) whether the result is indeed everything there is or whether the result is only the visible result of everything there is and much is not visible.
I don't mind discussing further how I see it, but I believe it is important that you conjure different models first. You have a very smart brain and you are really good at structural thinking. Please continue to do more of that, but envision how this result could have come into being if the bird inside the egg did indeed come out of its shell.
