The one side of the mouth you are speaking from, I agree completely, Ed. The other side of your mouth?

When two parties are in control, they tango together and are responsible together. Yes, we can point to the specific dancer not doing the correct things, but when the tango does not satisfy, then at least one of the partners should demand we change the dance.

The democrats? Not changing the dance.

The democrats? Not helping the poor at all because they have their hands full helping the undermined middle class.

The democrats? Always good at talking the talk, but walking the walk with pointing the fingers at the republicans when things don't go well.

Everything here is organized to such a low level that we end up falling to our knees when things are organized to anything resembling a normal level.

The Framers were very clear:

The Federal level had to be accepted for what it was, otherwise the 13 Colonies would not have played along.

So, we do have lower standards for the Federal level, including Federal elections. It's what it is.

Yet the Bill of Rights shows us already that the Framers put higher standards in place. The elections we are holding for State and local elections cannot undermine the privileges of the people. That means we should have real elections and not puppet elections at local and State levels.

The powers that be? Middle finger for the US Constitution.

Instead of full representation for all voters, we have concentration of powers at all levels. They screwed us, and we have to fight to get our right to vote and be represented by that very vote. Today, we are not.

We should have a diverse group of people representing us, belonging to at least four if not five or six different parties at the State level (and at the local level, depending on how many seats there are of course; some cities have just five seats on their council, so that will be two or three parties at the most).

Two party system with limited representation, we find just a concentration of powers at all levels. Can you guess what color is most abundant?

The first image shows what we are doing at all levels, Federal, State and local levels, and the second image below shows what we should have at State and local levels.

Full representation, all colors expressed as they are (green was already the most abundant color in the other image above, but we were not allowed to express ourselves, other than via red and blue).

You see?

Our true political desires are not expressed. They are warped toward the two political powers. They control us in tandem.

I hate both parties because they don't stand up for freedom. I hate both parties because they talk their talk and actively walk away from real reform. They do not care about you as the voter, as long as you feel trapped and are not looking for the solution but rather hand the democrats your money (or hand the republicans your money if you see the democrats as the demons).

The democrats could open the door to political freedom at the local level today if they wanted to. They don't want to.

The democrats cling to power, just like the republicans.

The voters are the ones standing small.
