The singularity never existed. When the prior state caused (some) energy to transform into matter, it was itself not a singularity. It was in human terms better described as a collective of energy.

A singularity is a brain fart. Ever since the transformation of energy into matter took hold, we have an empty spot among all as well. Some folks try to fill the empty spot with brain farts.
