Well, let me undermine myself here. With energy at the largest of levels never fully connected (the idea of many gods is more natural than the idea of a single god) does impact how we may organize ourselves.

What do you think? If we all believed in many gods, would we compete less (pollute less, fight less) because we don't have that view about that single top position we all should agree on?
