Travel back in time or travel forward in time successfully, and you will be dead!
Planet Earth will not be in the same spot. So, after your successful time travel, you will find yourself hanging in space where Earth is not, for what is probably not even more than a second of remaining alive.
If you had expected to be in the same place but then in a different time on the planet, that single second of still being alive is probably not enough to realize where you are. You won't recognize that you 'landed' in space, with planet Earth already long gone, or planet Earth not yet arrived at that spot.
However, that single second probably will be enough to realize you did something stupid.
P.S. Einstein's physics is incomplete. He created his spacetime framework on the behavior of matter in star system or galaxy. That is all fine, but one cannot extrapolate it to the universe because that is a religious act and not a scientific fact.
