Tvar probably means 'animal' or 'beast' in its most negative form.
I can't help think about normal Russians having gone off the deep end because of the need to support what they see as the top of Russia. I think it is an illness.
I wrote the following article about Russia and Power in which I follow my own (perhaps strange) path of looking for structural significance. Yes, I am biased; I am against all this violence.
