Unfortunately, Andre, I have to agree with you. Once we have plenty of money, then freedom is not all that expensive.
Mankind was free to invent money, and it became such a good exchange mechanism that folks long before us fully embraced it. But now, we have chained ourselves to something that isn't a real thing even.
We can't eat money, we can't drink money (though I've been told some can swim in it). And more and more of our decisions are based on money.
It means the central tenet of much of our society is based on money, and not on people.
We can organize ourselves better, but that requires better forms of organization and a two-party system is definitively not it. Sweden has a better system and with it the voters have more freedom. We don't. Left or right, that's it. They have the full colors of the rainbow, and we have red and blue, and both put money in the center. Or is it themselves? Either way.
If we don't have the organization that gives us the most freedom, then we will have less freedom for sure.
