We can only have a God of the gaps when the gaps are real. We are stating that the gaps are real.

And when the gaps are real, then God must also contain those gaps.

That means that God before there were gaps is distinct from God now that there are gaps.

God 1.0 became God 2.0 when the foundation of God 1.0 received those gaps.

Conclusion: We cannot discuss God as if God is immobile and unchanging.
