Well said, but I missed the political system's lie. It all starts with the US Constitution and how we did not get what we are told we should have.

First our crappy democracy; it is not even half the value that other nations have.

US:

Majority picks representative: say 60%

Representatives make the decision: say 60%

US Voters: 60% x 60% = 36% supports the decision with their actual cast votes. Minority rule disguised as majority rule.

THEM:

All pick their representatives: say 99%

Representatives make the decision: say 60%

THEM Voters: 99% x 60% = 59.4% supports the decision with their actual cast votes. Majority rule.

We got an elitist exclusive system and we call it a democracy (or a republic), quite laughable, but painful.

They got an inclusive democracy in which all are represented. They occupy the top ten list of happy nations.

The Framers had to agree to a compromise for the Federal level. They wrote in details how this would be the elitist, exclusive voting system. Hard if not impossible to chance. But that is not all.

The Framers ALSO wrote that everywhere else we, US citizens, have privileges and immunities. That means there are standards in place, and these words actually mean that these are decent standards, such as fair representation.

But... we did not get that. The State powers took our citizens rights away from us at first opportunity and gave us the same crappy voting system.

Thomas Jefferson devised the clean voting system already, so it was readily available and known in those days. We should have that in place today for State and local levels, says the US Constitution.

That upgrade to the real deal will make them pay attention because in the clean voting system majority rule does indeed mean majority rule.

In our crappy system, majority rule means nothing but minority rule. And these are not the minorities you see begging on the street and uninsured.

No wonder you are angry and upset. They screwed you over at the State and local levels, so now you aren't getting your freedom at three levels of government instead of just the one the Framers had to compromise on.

Glad you wrote this all down in a good tell-all article. I can tell you are totally fed up.
