What I miss in the United States is the longing for the truth because only the truth can set us free.

Your call, pastor, is still not declaring the truth. How come?

There is so much ignorance (meaning much in society is actively ignored) that it hurts.

The truth is simple: Our nation has just two parties, yet we call ourselves the greatest democracy this earth has ever seen. We actively lie all the time.

Because no one else speaks the truth, we have a hard time grasping it. Instead we propel the lie that our institutions are fine. They are not.

We have a two-party system in which the voters compete with the voters, and only the majority gets the pick. The minority gets nothing. There, dare say that and next propose change of our 18th century system that does not fit in the 21st century.

The strange truth is that the Losing Party is actually the biggest party in our system.

The saddest part is that it is true.

Like the Hunger Games, we have an elite that is totally unaffected by any outcome in our 'democracy'. They watch from a distance while the 12 tribes duke it out with one another in our voting system.

We need the USA 2.0 upgrade. We are well overdue. Voter power is missing in our system because the power is with Red and with Blue and the ones behind the curtains with money, connections, and a lot of the ropes.

Speak the truth, pastor.

Voting reform is actually quite easy because we can start at the local level with proportional voting. The US Constitution is already fine with that.

At the local level, today, we find almost all cities and counties with seats occupied by a single party.

* In many places, all seats are occupied by Blue members saying they aren't blue.

* In many places, all seats are occupied by Red members saying they aren't red.

Almost the entire nation is a one-party system at the local level. We can start voting for non-Machine candidates that promote voting reform.

I know the other issues appear more important. But the injustice in our nation is established by the voting system of winner-taking-it-all. We are playing the Hunger Games. All folks (left, right, up and down) are sick of it and they need to hear that there is a way out.
