You have good and colorful language to support your views, John. I like it.

Our power over society is regulated via the political process. Having red and blue (and not any other color) gives plenty of opportunities via the non-regulated yellow, green, and orange channels to do much behind the scenes for those in the know, with the money, with the self-interest desires.

Only when voters are given the privilege to vote in freedom, only then will the other colors be captured by the voters.

Here is an image of our political reality:

And here is an image of the financial reality that you describe so well:

As you can see, they are not aligned. The voters are excluded from regulating the money and banking system, except via red and blue. As a result we have cowboy capitalism, a government that cannot govern, the Supreme Court instead making many important decisions, and a population that can only think in red and blue about the big picture they live in.

We can think full color, financially. But when it comes to the big picture, we switch to an 18th Century way of seeing things. We need an upgrade of our political system.

It's like the movie Pleasantville: we need to let color in (just letting yellow in will already reveal the truth, plain and clearly). A three-to-five party system is what we need, and there are ways to get some of it today.

Thank you for your direct and good reply, John. I appreciate it.
