You need to read Gödel's work, Tony, to understand you are viewing this from a black-and-white perspective. Let me say it with a different question as example to show what your brain is doing: Are women the real human beings, or are men?

We should immediately see that this is an incorrect question. Two different positions exist and the point for bringing this up is that each can be recognized as self-based to some extent. Neither can take in the overarching position.

Somehow, you have not learned about the self-based nature of everything. You think this or that in top position. You do not see that this is to some extent self-based and cannot be overtaken by that, while that is self-based to some extent as well so it cannot be overtaken by this.

Yin and Yang cannot overtake the other.

I have been told that males rarely can capture two stories told at the same time by two different people in a conversation, but that women are generally more capable of doing that.

With that in mind, let me say that I think you have a male brain. It is one-directional and it cannot see that religion is a self-based perspective that can never be pushed aside fully by science. At the same time, science is self-based and cannot be pushed aside fully by religion either.

Both are self-based and limited in scope. Don’t think that one can take in the overarching position. That would be a brain fart.
